Spinalonga View Villa offers the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and unforgettable scenery. Perched in a gently elevated position, the villa overlooks the sparkling turquoise waters surrounding the historic island of Spinalonga. Just a short 6-minute stroll takes you to Plaka’s beautiful unique grey stone beach, conveniently located at the end of the road.
Inside, the villa is designed for both style and comfort. The ground floor features a bright open-plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a modern shower room. Large doors open directly onto the private terrace, where you’ll find your own swimming pool with panoramic views of the sea, mountains, and lush countryside.
Upstairs, two spacious double bedrooms each open onto their own balcony—perfect for enjoying morning coffee while gazing out across the water. A family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower completes this floor.
The lower level offers additional space with a second living room, a twin bedroom, and another W.C—ideal for families or groups of friends. Throughout the villa, you’ll enjoy the comfort of air conditioning, double glazing, and cool tiled floors.
Outdoors, a beautifully landscaped garden creates a peaceful retreat with a shaded barbecue area for al fresco dining and private parking for two cars.
The charming fishing village of Plaka is just a 10-minute walk away, where you’ll discover traditional tavernas, boutique shops, and an authentic Cretan atmosphere. For a wider selection of restaurants, shops, and vibrant nightlife, Elounda is only a 10-minute drive and also easily accessible by bus from the beach.
Families are warmly welcomed, though we kindly remind guests to supervise children at all times, especially around the pool and staircases.

What a beautiful place to stay. Everything was perfect with gorgeous views of the mountains and sea looking out to Spinalonga (a must visit!). The place has everything we could have needed and was extremely clean and tidy. The beach and restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away which was perfect after a busy day of snorkelling. We were regulars at the Carob Tree for traditional Greek food and we would highly recommend! Plaka has a great bus service into Elounda and Agios Nikolios for around €2.30pp! We stayed for a week but would have stayed longer if we could have, it was just a perfect holiday!

The villa itself is equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing and comfortable stay with seriously comfortable beds and plenty of living space .
The bedrooms are all air conditioned and there are also shutters to help block out the sun. Beds were super comfy and amazing views from the 2 upstairs bedrooms to wake up to. Towels including beach towels were provided which we thought was a nice touch.
Outside the pool area is clean with several sun loungers and a very pretty shaded area (down some steps) for days when you want to get out of the sun. We noted there was also a bbq there although we did not use it.
There were incredible views of the sea and Spinalonga to be had from the pool and the villa which is set on a gentle hill above the town.
The town of Plaka itself is an unspoilt gem with just the right balance of tourism and authentic Greek about it . The water is the clearest blue and the white pebble beaches a delight. We felt very safe walking around the town during the day and at night.
Spinalonga View was the perfect villa for our Plaka retreat. It’s beautifully quiet, with views that stretch across the sea to the island of Spinalonga. The pool is cool and refreshing and our son learnt how to tumble turn there while I bobbed on one of the inflatables left by the owners for us to use.

It’s so clean and there is everything that you need to relax and have fun (including beach towels, table tennis, inflatables, balls for the pool) and to self cater. We preferred to wander into Plaka where we ate at a large quantity of restaurants an enormous quantity of delicious food.
We swam at the beach in the morning and in the pool in the afternoon. The sea water was warm and little fish were a plenty to be viewed through our snorkels.
A boat trip to Spinalonga and a private very affordable boat trip to a swimming cove made this one of the best holidays we have had.
The owners were super helpful and available which makes a difference and helped us with recommendations so we made fabulous choices. Maria’s was one of our favourite restaurants. The Carob tree for a super relaxing lunch, and for a strawberry cocktail or breakfast Epico on the sea front all became regulars for us. There is lots to select from and thankfully not so busy that it ever feels anything but chilled and relaxing…there is the odd tourist, us included, but you feel like you are experiencing the real Crete.
Amazing!
